![]() ![]() ![]() It begins to make more noticeable changes to Gen 3 in several different ways. Like every generation of Pokemon games, both Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire share similarities with only minor differences, something that changes with the series’ release of Pokemon Emerald. This can be anything from individual Pokemon and their evolutions to story aspects to how whole areas of the game are approached. Much like the first two generations of Pokemon games, Gen 3 has aspects that are version exclusive to each of its individual titles. The third generation of Pokemon games, Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire, and Pokemon Emerald, all feature a lot of similarities but stand out from each other with quite a few differences. ![]() ![]() ![]() Gex seeks to collect three types of remotes to unlock different TVs in the overworld that aid in the fight against his arch-nemesis, Rez.Īfter creating the original Gex, which released for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, PC, Sega Saturn, and PlayStation in 1995, developer Crystal Dynamics sought a sequel in the form of a 3D platform video game in the style of Super Mario 64. ![]() ![]() Its protagonist, Gex, a TV-binging, wisecracking gecko, is voiced by Dana Gould in the North American version, Leslie Phillips in the European release, and Mitsuo Senda in the Japanese release. If something is too hard or I don't want to put the time into getting it, that's fine too, I'm not gonna complain that an achievement someone else took the time to develop is "too hard" or "annoying" because I can't get it. If its a good game I'll play it again and be happy that I still have achievements to get. But to me achievements are just a little bit of added satisfaction to what is already a fun game. ![]() Its almost like they're not playing the video game they're playing the achievement hunt. Some people just want to run through a set and get all the achievements. Of course there should be a good balance for all play levels, but when we talk about mastery we're talking about accomplishing everything in the game that a site full of creative gamers can come up with. ![]() I think the more achievements, the harder they are, the more time the take, the BETTER. I see a lot of people on RA complain about hard achievements, speedruns, grindy stuff, multiple playthroughs. ![]() Utilize all shortcuts for each level in the first world. You can also save after beating each boss if you enter the completed world on the world map instead of to the next one and save, then go to the next world with Funky. I'm the first to admit this isn't too much fun and there are instances in the game where you have to do up to three levels until you can access a savepoint (Gloomy Gulch is the worst offender here). With all that being said though, here is how I did it: practice speedrunning a particular level (or levels) in a completed file and whenever you are satisfied with your speed, repeat your effort for that level in the file where it needs to count for the achievement and reload the save if you believe you need to try again. I believe the main reasons why the DKC and DKL games on here have speedrun achievements is because of the save file having a timer and mostly because of the infamous Cranky statement at the end of the first DKC. I'm also not too much of a fan of speedrun achievements, because even though I do love watching them, I find them more stressful than fun if I have to do it myself. ![]() ![]() Shoot pistols, sniper rifles, assault rifles, shotguns, RPGs and even miniguns.
